Dusk Till Dawn

Hailing from New Zealand, Ladyhawke will be hoping to make her chart breakthrough with the track 'Dusk Till Dawn'.

Growing up in a very musical family (her dad's a jazz drummer and her mum's a singer), it was probably inevitable that Ladyhawke should end up doing music herself.

She started learning the drums at eleven and by age fourteen she'd taught herself guitar, bass and synth.

Since then she played in a number of bands but soon decided to pursue a solo career so she could, in her words, 'do (her) own project without having to answer to bandmates'.

Describing her sound as trying to 'recreate the same vibe that so many amazing records of the 70s and 80s produced', her latest single, 'Dusk Till Dawn' is an insanely catchy, electro-influenced track that just makes you want to dance the minute you hear it.

She shot the video for the song in LA and it sees Ladyhawke having a few nightmares, encountering some very scary-looking characters when she's woken in the middle of the night. Check it out for yourself below...
